Welcome to the Rising Sun pub, Milland, West Sussex.
A true village local in the heart of unspoilt South Downs National Park countryside renowned for it's outstanding atmosphere, great food, well kept Fullers ales, a long and varied wine list and charming staff. Stylishly refurbished, spacious and light and with vast gardens and terraces adorned with teak tables and parasols, this is a pub for all seasons and all occasions. Have a look round the site and pay us a visit - you won't be disappointed.
There is a daily changing menu of fresh, local and seasonal pub classics, restaurant style dishes, fresh fish, salads and lighter dishes. A children's menu, bar snacks, gorgeous desserts and takeaway pizza and fresh fish and chips are available.
Live music takes place on the first Friday of every month, The Olde English Lunch Club meets every other month and there are regular quizzes.

Jubilee Events
There are a number of events planned in Milland for the Jubilee weekend. Principally, these are Polo & Pimms at Trippetts Farm, Rake Road, Milland at 5pm on Sunday 3rd June. Then the Royal Quiz & Supper from 7.30pm here at the Rising Sun (booking essential, tables of 6 maximum, £10 pp including supper). The main event though is The Big Village Bun Fight from 4pm on Monday 4th at the Village Field (adjacent to the pub). We kick off with a BYO picnic, with garden games, cream teas from the village shop and a live jazz band. Then as day becomes dusk there'll be live music from covers band May Contain Nuts, a bar and barbecue, and at 10pm fire works, the lighting of the Jubilee Beacon and Last Night of the Proms style pageantry.

What is Early Bird?
Early Bird is an early evening dining offer. Five or six dishes off our regular menu are priced at £8 for all orders made between 6 and 7pm Monday - Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)
